About Us
We started as a poster for a musical workshop by Blu Rhoden and Bowe Lubin. Soon, kids were signing up for a show called "Saving Broadway". Evie Flint offered to help with the visuals and soon became an official staff member. The script was sent out, and the show was casted.
Our first zoom musical had 87 people in the audience, which we felt was a big success. What started as a one time workshop, soon became something much bigger. What was then called Lockdown Productions was born.
We soon spread out to other shows, like A Midsummer Night dream, and our last zoom show, Wax Idols. Both of these turned out to be hits! Lockdown Productions soon after became KDTP.
We are a non-profit kid-directed group-- no adults have been involved in any of the makings of either of our past shows.

Say hello to the staff members of KDTP
Blu Rhoden (Director, Writer)
Blu Rhoden is the star of the show in KDTP. She writes our scripts, songs, and organizes everything. She keeps track of everything that is happening throughout the months before the show. She founded KDTP, and is the reason we're what we are today.
Evie Flint (Producer, Art Director)
Evie Flint is the art director and producer of KDTP. Even though she wasn't here from the beginning, she still helps out a lot! She co-casts, has designed our logo, and this website! She's leads the LPAC, and shows the actors where they need to be at what times.
Henry Markowitz (Stage Manager)
Henry started out as an actor in KDTP, (and continues to shine) but became much more. He makes sure every actor is ready for their next cue, and that everyone is on task. It's because of the stage manager that the show runs smoothly.
Lola Flint and Jesse Rhoden (Curtains, Prop Managers)
Although they aren't a part of the main staff, Jesse and Lola play a big part in making our shows successful. They work with Henry backstage to make sure everyone is doing their part.
